Standing on the river bank of my family's up-country home, I looked up to see a small green flat-bottom motor boat roaring by. In it were two local river "Bubba Bro's". Through the tears beginning to block my vision, I saw in my mind's eye two other young boys sitting in a similar green boat back in the day - 1963. ... I remembered my younger brother and me heading to the country store down river more than 58 years ago. Yes, it was a good day when our old boat motor was actually working. Such good times make good, long-lasting memories!
