What are the best things about art fairs

Meeting people and sharing my technique. Finding homes for my pieces so I can make more.

Best show ever and why

Prairie Village 2013 (or 14?).  The stars were alighned- sold continuously all three days.  Largest piece sold.  Weather was ideal.  People just kept buying even sold two large pieces after the show ended.  Had a great booth location at the end of a row and so the people driving by could also see my work.

Worst show ever and why

2009 at the Octagon Art fair was pretty bad because the wind blew my booth into a potter's- big mess, very sad!
