I will be doing this show for the first time. I know it is a very large show, and like most such, there may be really bad locations. I understand it is also a site that slopes down toward the river.
I've been reading through a lot of old threads about lighting and the general consensus seems to be on marine batteries as the best combination of power/portability for powering your setup.
However, most of these threads are several years old, and I
Hi, I'll be doing my first outdoor art fair at Art's Alive, above, in just under two weeks. I'm working through my supplies list now. Any advice from people who have done this show? I've signed up for Art Fair Sourcebook, and I saw the two reviews o
I have a vintage May-o-Matic Mayline drafting table that came from an architectural firm in Buffalo in the 60's. It's 72"x44", steel on the bottom with a desk and drawer on one side and an adjustible angle drafting table on the other. It's a great pi
We have had a very successful pledge drive and I thank everyone who "sent us money" and such supportive messages. The first 50 names have been drawn and most of them have claimed their prizes. If your name is on the list here you have qualified for a
I looked and found these bags http://artpak.net/ to put my artwork in, for easy transport to and from fairs. I figure if someone buys a piece, I will put it in the bag and send them off with it.
