Does anyone have good tips for closing a sale? I like talking to people, I greet them when they stop by my booth and I am friendly and helpful and knowlegable. I have a great product, I think (custom coloring books and hand-poured crayons) and my pr
I have read about COA's and they seem to be on copies or limited additions as well as on One of a Kind art. Is that right? If so then I need to make some. Do I need to use anything official like a seal or special paper? I have read on this topic but
Hi everyone. I'm doing my first art show on July 3rd. It's a one day show. Small island town during tourist season. I honestly have no idea what to expect on how much I am going to sell. And even less of an idea on what kind of inventory I need to ha
I’ve been looking at vendors for business insurance, and have some questions. In my search the same names keep coming up repeatedly: ACTinspro, RLI, and Selective. First off, are there any others I should look at? I may talk to my homeowner’s insura

I've been doing shows for years and have always just "winged it" when it comes to lighting. Consequently, I've never been very happy with the lighting or the set-up. Now I'm getting ready to update my booth and am ordering pro panels and the folks
Whats a URL and how do you find it . This is needed to write a show reveiw and I will have to start all over again. The reveiw page will also not let you type in 2013.
Is there a list collected of indoor shows? I cannot continue to do outdoor shows and thought I might see if there are enough to justify doing shows. Thanks.
I had applied to this show back in the early spring and when then results from the jury came back, I found that I was placed on the wait list. By the week before the show I had assumed that I was not going to do the show and made other plans.
As I get ready for spring (because I need to remember that winter in Illinois will end!) I am considering more upgrades for my booth. I have put out a request for used weights to replace my lovely concrete filled PVC which I strap to my booth poles
I am looking for some new way of attaching curtains to my booth. I have a Show-Off canopy. The horizontal bars up at the roof line are very thick in diameter: probably 1 ¾ or 2”. I can’t just sew a big rod pocket and slip them on the bars, because I
