Nice to see there is somebody pushing for things made in America to be sold in Washington DC gifts shops. That should be important to Americans. We have many skilled artisans who would love to supply gift shops with gifts made here. I am tired of seeing Made in China on everything. Have you ever looked at the labels in a clothing store? You will be hard pressed to find something made in the USA. Go Wendy.
OMG! I see that she just joined AFI today as a member... hope you'll all welcome her. Like other people in our business, Howard Alan and Amy Amdur, with her events she has enabled many artists to earn a living and really gave a boost to the crafts wholesale business with her groundbreaking shows.

I could pretty much have guessed that considering she has been so active in many things that I care about, narcissist that I am. All of her activities around Handmade in America, hassling the DC museums for having made in China goods in their gift shops, etc., would make me think she would lean that way.
