Trimline or Showoff

Hello everyone,

I am getting ready to purchase a tent for art fairs. I have narrowed it to either Trimline or Showoff. It seems everyone is extremely happy with their Trimline, but I haven't been able to find much information or reviews on the Showtime tents. I was hoping someone would be able to provide some insight on Showoff tents or how the two tents compare.

Thanks in advance!

  • You've got to understand that people can be very happy with something but not prefer it.

I'm happy with my Civic but I'd prefer a Bentley! :)

Anyways, check out the search and at least consider the "professional" pop up tents. If I could start over I would do that almost certainly.

  • I have a trimline and wish I'd bought a Lightdome or Showoff. Steel vs aluminum and a lot of pieces to put together/raise vs. fewer and much lighter.  If I have to do a show by myself, it's a real problem to raise a trimline. But no doubt, it's a well made product, will last a very long time and has very good customer service behind it. But when it comes to put up and take down/moving/storing, lightdome is much easier. In my opinion, Showoff is an aluminum version of trimline (showoff came first I believe) so too many parts as well, especially the roof.

    • You don't need to dissemble everything on the Showoff. I leave many sections partially assembled, just leave nested the parts that fit that way, and they still fit in the original bag. Off the top of my head.....as partially assembled....4 leg parts. 4 side parts. 2 front and back parts. 8 rafters. That's not too bad. Total actual separable components  would be 8 leg parts, 6 side parts. 6 front and back parts. 8 rafters.

  • Loads found in the searchbox...?

Just one as an example, just plug in Showoff.

    • Thanks for the link!
