I've always used and recommended Modern Postcard but I'm currently working with an artist who is looking for a reliable less expensive alternative.
Can you recommend a postcard company (other than Modern) you've had good experiences with?

I just got 1000 from PrintRunner.com and was very satisfied with the price and results. 1000 postcards, color one side, b & w on the other, plus 500 business cards the same way (color and bw), were less than $90. They are for the Ocean View Art Show in October, and I figured if we attracted one more artist with the cards, they'd be paid for!
Turnaround was quick with them and I like the template they use to let you know if everything will print OK. They also let me know quickly of a problem with one file and it only delayed the deliver one day.
I used Vista Print until I got dirty magazines in the mail and found out it was from Vistaprint giving out my address (no, I didn't click the box that said I would allow). I called them and they heartily apologized but will not use them again.
I use Overnightprints.com and love the quality and color. If you wait for their sales you can get a box of 100 postcards for $20
Try GotPrint.net - they do 5,000 postcards for $95. Quality is good and the price is hard to beat, and you can usually find additional coupons on google for free shipping, etc. -Matt Olian
