I know it has moved back to its original location. I looked for recent reviews without finding any (except for Geri’s, from the patron’s perspective) before I applied. I have been accepted.

I am also accepted to Winona IN, which I did once, 9 years ago. That one seemed marginal in sales, though it retrospect, at least compared to present day sales, it was not so bad.

I’m trying hard to travel less this year. If I did Monument Square I would not need a hotel and would save on gas and travel time. Winona is about 3 hours from me, which is really not far if sales are good.  Thanks!

  • The show organization for Monument Square is really making an effort to bring this show back to its former glory -- and it is close to home. Seems like an easy choice to me.

I've visited the Winona show (as have you), such a sweet location and amenities, but the day I visited there weren't that many shoppers, seems like you would need more people.

  • If you are willing to take the chance, it may be worth it since your expenses are going to be lower.  The people who are doing it this year really seem to want it to be successful.

Didn't you used to do this show?  A long time ago?

    • I did it once, so many years ago that it is almost irrelevant :)  I did not do well, but I remember it rained a lot, too. I didn't reapply chiefly because they had an "Application is a committment to show" no refunds policy for years. Then, I started doing more distant shows for that weekend.
