Have any of you participated in the festival in Golden Colorado? I got accepted and it would be my first real show. Looking for some insight or feedback.

I have done Golden, CO every year since 2006 with sales increasing in the $3-5K range. I live an hour away so the margin is great. Well managed and advertised show with affluent crowd: school of mines faculty, professionals, etc. can rain and be windy. Easy set up and ok take down. Hope you like the smell of beer brewing. My medium is leather and I've won a cash fiber award a couple times. Good crowd that spends money. I get year round follow up sales from Golden.
Congrats!! We got into Golden once and did great there even though we sold out (before the show) on most of our best selling items. I would plan to bring at least $12-14K in merchandise if you can do that. We sold more than 60% of the merchandise that we had and think we could have done even better if we'd had more stock.
