Are you a fan of this site? An active member of the Art Fair Insiders community?

Do you find valuable info and friendships here that help your business?

Or, maybe you're even addicted to the forum??

If that sounds like you, we'd like your help.

Can you leave below a short "testimonial" quote about why you like AFI and how it's been helpful (and fun) to you?

We're going to be launching the annual AFI Pledge Drive soon and would appreciate your comments to use publicly in the marketing.

You know, short quotes like "I love visiting ArtFairInsiders.com daily because…"

Thanks for your help!

  • Love cruising the forum here when I have time. Have learned so much!
  • This site has been so helpful for me. It made my life more simple with the tips and advices that I have been founding here and it's great to hear stories, experiences and share yours. I do find it a little confusing to browse but I am very curious so I click everywhere and I finally find what I'm looking for or stumble into a great post or information. Art fairs in Chicago are starting so I am always excited to read reviews and experiences so I'm on the site at least twice a day. It is a great resource, I am a big fan and it cracks me up that I'm starting to get familiar with so many artist without knowing them, that little by little you know their personalities because the way they write, react and give their advice or comment, it's like being in a neighborhood and you have the one that always helps you, the one that lends you his tools, the one that always has a cold beer for you, the trouble maker, the one that complains about everything, the one that always invites you to his bbq,  the one that loves to argue, the one that always has the best advice and the one that loves his tequila and you could spend the whole afternoon listening to his stories, etc etc.

I am looking forward for a wonderful season and can't wait to post my reviews. Good luck to everybody!

    • Perfectly said!

      Our own little "neighborhood"!

  • Have really enjoyed this site since just discovering it in the last couple of months.  I think if we had found this site earlier some of the mistakes we made in selecting shows, equipment, jury pictures, etc. would have been avoided.  Great site for newbies to learn all the right way to do things and avoid the stupid mistakes we made!

That being said, I think I've become addicted to this site and it provides a great amount of entertainment as well as information.

  • I became a member over a year ago. I visit the forums daily. There is always a new member to welcome, a question someone new has asked, or new ideas for sales techniques, tools, or suggestions for keeping comfortable at the shows. The veterans- those who have been in the business are very fun, knowledgeable, and helpful to those of us with little or no experience. My business is in the Start-up phase- 4 yrs and counting.... so gaining insight, and being able to chat or email others who may have already "been there and done that" is always a helpful thing. And the ability to research has saved me... time, expense, and I suspect, a lot of tears and frustration. This site has become a lifeline for me, enabling me to grow and succeed as an Artist/Crafts person. AFI is to me , a community of friends, that I can rely on, to guide me. Very invaluable to me!
    • Thanks, Karole!

That's a great testimonial to kick things off here.

Wonderful how the Internet can help connect people in this way, isn't it?

      Anybody else?

      • absoposilutely! LOL! have a great day Scott!
