Before and after booth shots

Several months ago I posted my booth shot and asked for input. It was humbling, to say the least, but I got a lot of great feedback from other artists who are in the know. Posting the booth image on this forum was the best thing I could have done to get much needed help from objective points of view. This is the booth shot I posted.

Since then I have totally redone my booth, using the advice I received. So folks, (drum roll please), I now present my new look. I am excited and proud of the new look, which incidentally still folds down and fits nicely into my Chevy Cobalt.

Thank you again to all of you who commented, advised and encouraged. I listened.

I am still open to suggestions, but am going into show season with this look. See you there!

  • WOW What a transformation! I am not sure I'd go in the first one - but I would CERTAINLY go in the second one. Fantastic job!

  • I like the way your fabric hangs from a pocket rod...would you mind sharing the kind of bar that you are hanging from (that has the thumb screw or an eye hook at the leg attachment)?

  • The second one looks so much more cohesive.  To be honest, I wasn't sure what it was you were selling when I looked at the first picture.  I can't believe you can get all that in a Chevy Cobalt!  Your display case must come apart.  Do you mind if I ask what kind it is?

    • It is the kind custom made by my wonderful very detail minded husband, after much research and thinking through. It totally dissembles like a puzzle so it fits in my car.

  • Looks great. A few minor tweaks if you're going to use it for jurying. Crop down and eliminate the bright top of the canopy roof leaving some of the canopy top. Fix the bottom left corner of the grass and crop in on both sides just inside the tent legs. But it's a great improvement and looks much more cohesive.

  • I am not a judge or expert, but I love the new look!  It is so much less cluttered and really pulls things together.  There is a quiet about it now that was most certainly not in the first version.  Cudos on all your hard work.
