Has anyone done this show? Is it more of a beerfest than a buying public? It's the same weekend as Maitland's "Art Under the Stars" which is doubling its ad budget in 2016 and I'm considering going back for a 2nd year. Last year, the Paris terror attacks happened that weekend and may have affected attendance.

It's either pretty good or horrible. It is not an area where the crowds are there to really spend money on art. 85% of the crowds are there for a pretty weekend to drink beer and wander around. Maitland takes away a LOT of people who might ordinarily go, but Maitland is a MUCH bigger draw. If Winter Springs would change the date, circumstances might be different. Go with Maitland if you can.

Thank you so much for your response. One way I learn a bit about shows is to look at the photos they post of the show and it looked a little "beerfesty." Art Fair Insiders had one review from several years ago on this show but we always need more perspectives for a decision. We make elegant functional pottery and can do well at many shows. A larger draw of people is a factor I pay attention to. Thanks again.
