I'm considering doing the Anacortes Arts Fesival on Aug 1st. I sell wood wall hangings in the $500 to $5000 range. Does anyone have an opinion on that show?

We participated one year in this show when we were very new to shows. For us it was the best show (sales wise) that we had ever done, however, turns out that wasn't good enough. It's a commission show and evidently our commission check was not enough, waitlisted the next 4 years and finally gave up applying after other artists told us about their commission minimum, which of course, the show denied.
However, for most artists that I know, reports are that it is generally a good show for most artists. I would be a little concerned about your price points if you start at $500. Not sure if this is a good indication for you, but while it was a great show for us, our average sale at that show was lower than our average at most other shows we did that year, we just had a lot more of those little sales to achieve a good total by the end of the show. It's a huge show, about 400 artists, all on one long street with booths along both sides and then a row right down the middle of the street. Well organized, good artist support. Definitely one that is worth paying for a corner booth or a booth in the center of the road where you can be open on 2 sides, a typical inline booth will get a lot less attention given the huge number of booths in this show.

I live in Bellingham WA.... I have applied for the Salem Art festival in Or July 18th , Kirkland Uncorked (new show) good area not sure about that one .... In August Art on the Green and Sweet Pea which is Montatna(same time as Anacortes) August 8th is Sunriver (very good show for me ).. So they are all in a 2-7 hour drive for me.. Hope that helps I think most are in the Jury process but hey doesn't hurt to ask..

South side of Minneapolis but I got into the Bellevue BAM show so I was looking for another show to do there. I used to live in Olympia so I'm excited to be going back. How about you?
