Just got back this morning, long drive for us - 13 hours.  This is a HUGE show, 250+ artists, several stages for live entertainment, food galore, wine/beer garden, you name it...they had it.  Set-up is Friday starting at 1pm, we showed up early, saw some other artists setting up, so we found our location and began our set-up.  No staff were on the grounds yet, but when they did get there, they didn't seem to mind.  We were done by 2, and the streets were just starting to get really busy with…

Just got back from this show, and drove all the way home with a big smile on my face. Yes, we had chilly, rainy weather.  Yes, we had small attendance. And yes, we sold….This show is in it's 2nd year, and I see it getting better and better. I think we had 80 artists, we were set-up in a parking lot off the main street of a little village in Scarsdale, NY. The weekend weather report called for rain, but it was scattered. This was the 2nd annual show. I did it in 2010 - sold a few smaller things, but had a major sale 2 months later from clients that had seen my work at the show, so I figured it was worth going back.  This is a 3 day indoor show at the Canton Museum of Art in Canton, OH.  Friday night is preview night, artists were treated to a banquet style dinner with wine before the opening of the preview party, which patrons paid $50/ticket for an evening of music, gourmet food, and wine - the attendance for… Continue

I was skeptical about this show because of the work "craft" in the title, no offense to craftsmen, but I usually do not do well at shows labeled a "Craft Fair", but seeing this was a very established show of 40 years, I figured I would give it a shot.
