Estes Park Art Market, 2017

My first show of the summer Colorado season is under way. We knocked 30 minutes of our normal 8 hour set up time, then kicked back on the deck of our cabin and wath clouds boil up above Longs peak (14,255') and Storm Peak (13,327'). We saw lots of old friends and Jean said we are "all a little grayer". I'm looking forward to meeting Barrie Bryant from Wyoming tomorrow. Note on travel expenses: We have found it is economical to rent condo or cabin in resort areas and eat in. The cabins in Estes…See More

Estes Park Arts and Craft Show, September 2016, Estes Park, Colorado

Estes Park is the gateway to the east side of Rocky Mountain Park.  There are many summer homes in the area and it is a destination for a broad spectrum of nationalities, income levels, and interests.  I started doing this show in 2010, and I have done it every year since then.  I also do the Memorial Day show in Estes Park.   The show is produced by the Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary, Inc. and they do an all-around EXCELLENT job!!!!  The town is packed for the weekend, and leading up to the…

Thanks for friending me Richard!! I have enjoyed the discussions, and your perspective as a leather Artist!! I met some really nice leather Artisans at a Celtic Festival when I was a teenager...fascinating watching them demo their work!! And as I needed a bracelet with my name (odd spelling, so had to have special ordered) my Mum & Da had one made for me...I STILL have it and wear it now. As a matter of fact, my daughter teethed on it, so it now has baby teeth imprints in it!! Your work is amazing...I peak at your saddles every now and again, wishing we still had horses, so I could get a saddle...they are gorgeous! See you on the Forums and Blogs!!
