Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival

I was ecstatic to get juried into Winter Park this year for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect but was certainly aware of the reputation that precedes this show. I made the trek from Tennessee on Wednesday, spent the night in Gainesville, Florida then continued onto Winter Park on Thursday for load in.  I had looked at the map of the show beforehand so knew exactly where my booth placement  in Central Park was thanks to Google Street Maps. I was directly between two massive cedar…See More

Winter Park 2015

Just a few more days and counting until I leave for sunny Florida from Tennessee. I was juried into this year's Winter Park show and I see reviews that are all over the place for the event. Should I be concerned about Nels' review from last year? Hopefully I wont! I looking forward to posting a positive review myself.  That's why we do festivals, right?…

Fall Tennessee Craft Fair

Posted on September 28, 2014 at 9:34pm 9 Comments

Nashville has traditionally been a great market for me in the 18 months I've been doing shows here at Centennial Park near the Parthenon. It's a local show for me, only 40 minutes from my house so I just commute back and forth over the four day period (set up + 3 day show).

Thursday set up was available from noon - 7 pm. I decided to wait until late in the day to set up and it was a sea of white tents completely closed up so I had no issue just backing up to my booth space…

First time at Penrod in Indianapolis.

I was ecstatic that I was juried into this show having fellow artists saying what a solid show this is. It after all is billed as one of the largest one day shows in the States and "Indiana's nicest day"! This was my first show ever in the state of Indiana.

I made the trek from Tennessee to Indianapolis in about 5 hours. I was in the "Yellow" section which was the area for the Evening at Penrod preview party. I entered onto the grounds of the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) off 38th…

Also, visit the "member map" and add your location. We have a lot to offer one another, experienced and newbie alike. Let's make this a dynamic site!

Many topics have already been discussed here before you joined us. You might like to try a search of your topic before you post your question. Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
