What are the best things about art fairs

1. The thrill of setting up and the anticipation of making tons of moolah! But I like best reconnecting with other Artist (old friends) and getting to know new ones. 2. Those rare times when you not only make the booth fee and expenses.. but there is an actual profit at the end of the daze. 3. Closing the doors of the trailer - getting in the drivers seat of the truck... and heading HOME!!!

Best show ever and why

The Gold Coast in Chicago... because I sold a favorite piece that I made for an extraordinary amount of money. That one sale made the whole show. Wish I could have more of those.

Worst show ever and why

Syracuse NY — three days in the cold and rain. Not one sale. I saw my mates across the road get wiped out by the wind and rain.. and the predominate conversation by the meager crowd was; " ... you know how many Beers I could buy for the price of that [art] ?!!! " And like Luke Skywalker said in the movies: "I'll never go to that planet again!" However; there was one good thing about that show.. Robert Cray was featured at a Jazz fest & performing at the hotel I was staying in and that was FREE. I did have to buy my own beer though.
