What are the best things about art fairs

Making a living, doing what I love. Interacting with the public. Spreading awareness and appreciation of art and its different forms. Each show is a learning experience.

Best show ever and why

I recently had my first show with over $10k in sales. It was The Annual National Shrimp Festival 2016 in Gulf Shores Alabama. It's also an extremely entertaining people-watching venue. It is a Seafood/Music festival with a Fine Art section of 40 or so artist.

Worst show ever and why

Art in the Pass, Pass Christian MS, 2014. I was relatively new and didn't have the most robust set up. I had a booth full of "can't get wet". It spat rain most of the weekend, but from about 3pm til 9pm on Sunday I could not break down due to torrential rain, thunder and lightning. There were still plenty of positives and lessons learned, as with any show.

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
