What are the best things about art fairs
You don’t have to sit behind a computer all day as with selling online. It's gratifying to interact with buyers at fairs and hearing compliments really encourage me. I love being outdoors and the immediate gratification of making money on the spot rather than waiting for my checks from the galleries to arrive in the mail.
Best show ever and why
Kerrville Festival of the Arts - my first real art festival and juried show. I made 10x more than I ever expected and the feedback was so incredibly encouraging. It was fun!
Worst show ever and why
Red bud artisan market - very depressing, didn't sell anything and didn't get feedback. Horrible first show. It was small and mostly people looking for cheap crafts. Not much buying going on anywhere.
