I couldn't resist posting this for my "flatland" friends in the Midwest and east. This is Longs Peak (14,000' something) and the "Notch". There is fresh snow up there and old snow fields. It's a popular but dangerous climb in Rocky Mountain National Park. I think there were at least two fatal falls and a couple rescues this summer. Set up is for the Rotary's Estes Park Arts and Crafts Show over Labor Day weekend. By 3:00 the peak was shrouded in a thunderstorm with some pretty nasty lightning.

  • Good sales are more important than right side up photos.  I would love to be in the Colorado scenery.  It looks beautiful there, even upside down.

  • Richard, I tried to flip them on my computer and couldn't post them upright.  I have no idea why it wouldn't work for me.

    • Jacki, I have had the same problem, sometimes with one photo and not the next. I think there is a glitch in the system. I cannot get photos to show up in blog or discussion without clicking on the JPEG. Mine are posted right side up and show up right side up most of the time. I'm using Windows8.1.

Pretty good first day sales exceeding expectations.

  • Those were both upside down for me.  Anyway they can be posted upside up and show they are visible without having to click on them?

  • Will be back there in three weeks. Nothing better than the Rockies! Will be interesting to see how the show goes for you.
  • I might have to look into doing this show next year. It's not very hot right now at all.
