Can someone explain the tent walls to me?

Hey all,

I've recently come into possession of an EZ-UP Eclipse II.  It's in perfect condition, but I need to get a white top for it (the one on it is blue), and would love some of the zippered sidewalls I see on other tents.  All I have are the cheap velcro ones.

I am SO confused by the choices -- which one is what I need?  I want the three solid walls, and the one with the center zip at the front.  But geez, they all seem to say the same thing.  Any help?

Here's the link:

Thanks!
Joel

  • We have zippers down all four walls. When you are at a show, you don't know when it might be helpful to have the option of letting one wall down partially - say, to block the sun when you are setting up, or to unzip two sides partially when it's windy, the breeze goes through.

Also, having the same zippers on all four walls means we can set them up in any order and make it work; not searching for the one that's different.

My tip is that if you can get an extender for whatever walls you get, do it. What that is for us is a 6" wide strip with zippers that goes on one corner and means our tent is relaxed - not super tight. Since we use hanging concrete-filled tubes as weights, they used to push against the tent when it was all zipped up, and I worried the zippers might burst. The 6 or 7" difference with the extender strip takes away that worry.

  • I bought new walls from sears on line for around 100.00 Lots less than anyone else was selling them for. they were just what you described.

  • This isn't a "right now" purchase -- I have one of the other EZ-Up tents already, but this one is far better than what I have.  I just wanted to be a little more professional, know what I mean?

  • Agree with Larry, but if you still want to upgrade what you got then go to Flourish

I brought 3 standard walls and one Universal Door Wall this spring to replace the Velcro Ez-up walls and they are fantastic quality.

  • Easiest solution is to purchase a new EZUp with zippered walls. They start at about $200 from Sam's Club and will probably cost less than a new top and new walls for the blue top canopy you've already acquired.
