Best show ever and why
Two best shows: Northern Virginia Art Festival in Reston, VA. One of the best shows in the nation and our highest gross sales ever. Art, Beats, and Eats: The venue is great, customers galore, and one of the best staffs around. This one we love.
Worst show ever and why
I just finished it (march 2009): Sarasota, FL. This was the first year for the show and the promoters were not able to get the customers there. I doubt if 500 people attended. I had my first zero sales day and ended with a gross sales of $60.00. My second worst show would be the Sugar Loaf Shows on the east coast. Although they work for many artists, my jewelry doesn't seem to appeal to this demographic. After 7 shows in the winter of 07, I ended up with a net profit of about $400.00.
