  • Good report, Matthew. I'm trying to get show reports from a broader geographic area and this really helps. Best wishes and travel safely.
  • Happy birthday, Matthew! I hope this is a great day for you and just the first one of a wonderful year full of love, laughs, fun and sales.

    Missing you in Michigan --
  • Matthew, I have always been on Bagy, for the Bayou show. set up can be messy there. not sure about the side streets.
I missed you at Columbus. had a good show. smaller stuff but totals about the same. Old Town this weeknd then maybe Virginia Beach.
  • Hey Matthew, I heard you didn't want to dolly at the Decatur show, so you walked. It was a hard set up take down was easier a bit wet though. I kinda liked the show, the best part, I was Home by 9:30
  • Hi Matt. It's just good to be alive, I'm a walking miracle.
We start again in April with shows. I should be ok by then, I'm just a bit wimpy still but getting stronger each day. Looking forward to getting busy again.
  • this is great fun- I will figure out how to use this page- I am in the dark age computer group. yes we got snow during the holidays even here at the beach on the peninsula at the end of washington state.. I have been building a house with large studio since July and that has been a blast. my partner Tom has been battling lung cancer(and emphysema) since last March.. thats not been fun. I have been exploring a lot of new to me clay techniques- wheel, wood fire, terra cotta(went to Italy for three weeks for some of that),got a new truck for my 70th birthday. life is just fine. Tom in a good phase at the moment. Thanks so much for writing- Hello to Bea... Jan Richardson
  • I see you have a pic of Shela Waters. She was my neighbor in Midland. Haven'T seen her all year.

also nice nude photography. You might have to give up wood.
  • There goes the neighborhood.
  • I'm on the wait list for Winter Park. If I get in I promise I'll practice once before I come. Andy
  • Matt,
Great to see you on this forum. Smithsonian was a major topic at the Washington Craft Show. I didn't survey furniture people (it is a seperate category) but nobody in the wood category in Washington got into the Smithsonian show, nor did my daughter. Wood people @ Wash (Smithsonian rejects) included Urruty, Lounsbury, MacDougall, Barnes, Biggs, Codding, Jay Rogers, Manhikongs, Mode, etc. I don't think I even got the "ataboy, almost made it, thanks for the donation, sucker" notice that I have gotten in the past. Biggest news here is Evans the Younger - Leah won best of show at Philadelphia - obviously, we were all ecstatic beyond belief!! (Please excuse the bragging) See you at Old Town if not sooner.
    Terry
