  who would have guessed your age??? Guess the art has been good to you! I have been training to do taxes for low income people this year & was supposed to start right when I broke my wrist & the surgery - but in another week or two - i might be able to go back. It is nice to think about doing some new things these days too!

  jan - sorry didn't respond sooner too. broke my wrist & computers not cooperating. Sorry about tom. hoping the chemo is helping. glad to hear though that you have found some things to do out there & isn't it nice not to have the expectations of what you are supposed to do. kind of like starting over - if you want. i assume you sold your place out east - so perhaps that will help you for awhile.
  jerry & I have stopped setting up at shows. for ourselves, that is a nice difference. of course it changes our money situation, but it is amazing how many jobs come to the studio. i miss seeing everyone & the conversations we had, but for right now, this little bit quieter time is easier. i have been doing this for 41 years now & i was getting a bit tired of all of the physical work, so now i get to look for other things to do when I am not working - which I never had time for before. it is slow coming but i am finding somethings.
  glad to hear from you. i missed knowing what happened after you left the east & others couldn't tell me. keep that brain of yours going!

  Jan - Thanks for sharing the info about Drew. I had heard he was ill & sent him a note. A wonderful artist & I will miss his presence.
  Glad to have someone on the west coast to help keep us informed. I have not heard about you since we talked in Atlanta about your move west. Hope the move & the relationship are continuing to go well???
