Years in the Art Fair Business

First show ever

I don't recall. It was for my wife; she makes her own art jewelry (she's to blame for getting me into this). I have been taking a single framed print to shows but no one has purchased it yet.

What are the best things about art fairs

The food man! Nobody cares about the art, it's just there to make eating more enjoyable ;-) Just kidding, though I think there is some truth to that. The think I like about shows is the diversity of great work all in one location. Each vendor is like a treasure chest full of beautiful work that is probably worth more than they are forced to sell it for.

Best show ever and why

I have never shown any of my work; ok, the one print mentioned above. I've only shown my wife's jewelry so I'm not going to comment on it.

Worst show ever and why

Too many to mention; the bulk reason why they were bad was because we didn't sell anything, that said; something happened in 2013 like a light shining at the end of the tunnel. I just need to make the same thing for my business happen but I have so much infrastructure to get into place.
