What are the best things about art fairs

The variety, atmosphere and merchandising variety. I love to see it all and see the customers first hand, I love interacting with them. I love doing something different with merhandsising and variety at every show. I also think some local art and categories outside of the box are great factors.

Best show ever and why

Hand Made Arcade Holidays 2011 Pittsburgh, PA The mix of variety, the location, the vibe, the art, great group to work with, largely marketed indie art show. Organized well. Did great in sales.

Worst show ever and why

A week long fair in Fulton County, Ohio, one of the top rated fairs in the country. A fair that has many many merchants and art. The weather went from a heat index of 104 to 40 and storming for 3 days. Still did fairly descent. I am still planning on trying again.
