  Hi Julia,

  Kudos to you for taking the time to post on here (and feeling brave.) Such a slippery slope to make it all work and for everyone to come out happy (or at least appreciated.)

  I have friends who jury and the experience seems wrought with hand-wringing! I did ask one about the 1's and she could see both sides of trying to keep it black and white but also how demoralizing a 1 would be. 

  Sometimes I do know that it is a stretch to get into some of the more competitive shows, but I keep hoping to impress with a "this is something I haven't seen before" approach. 

  I always know that there is going to be the thrill of acceptance and the agony of defeat. This defeat was just harder to breath through. 

  The challenge of giving out the scores is that there is also no notes given. You are one of the few shows to release info, but artists are going to wonder how come? Conversely, the extra time for jurors to include that might also put them over the edge! 

  I do hope to cross the threshold into Krasl-ville one day. As a Colorado artist, I am broadening my vistas and trying to go further out than OK. and MO. What's out there?
