  • I haven't seen many from our area on here...  If you do a term search for "San Diego" most of what pops up has to do with ArtWalk in Little Italy.

Congratulations on your commitment to the Leucadia event!  I have to say I'm a bit jealous--I'm still developing a body of work.  My stuff is more in the "wearable art" vein, so it falls into that grey area that doesn't fit into a lot of more traditional art festivals, but isn't quite crafting either...  I'm starting to look into getting my equipment for my booth, but haven't actually signed up for any fairs or festivals yet.  I've been scoping them out though, and sometimes there's mention of some on Etsy through the San Diego County group.  It's interesting--folks tend to sorta "not share" where the shows are that are available for artistic types...  It's a bit frustrating finding any resources that list things, and it seems it's mostly word of mouth from one artist to another regarding successful shows.  That's a HUGE part of why I have been drawn to Art Fair Insiders--there's as many newbies on here as me!  LOL!  And lots of basic questions being answered (in a generous way that isn't insulting) that I need to know the answers to!  LOL!

I'm glad you're on here, Janeane!  I'll be visiting the Leucadia ArtWalk, and I'll look for ya!  : )
