What are the best things about art fairs

The great personal relationship with the client. There is nothing more rewarding seeing the eye contact and the movement toward your booth when they see something they can't live without. A smile or chuckle about your work is really great. My true paycheck is where you have changed someones environment and they tell you about it. It's great

Best show ever and why

I did a show in Beaufort SC. We were packed in like crabs in a trap and couldn't walk around the tent. I was so scared upon arrival when I saw an "artist" selling painted painted purchased dollar store lighthouses . (Here's your sign.) Everyone did around $200 it was crafts and buy sell, it wasn't a good show. Lots of people but no buyers. I still put out the best work I could and sold over $1500. The same exact thing happened in Myrtle Beach a year later. My husband said I could sell sand to a sandman! You have to talk with your clients-make the connection.

Worst show ever and why

Oh, The old church show. Do it for the Christian school the children attend but, hey who could make $280 in an afternoon inside smelling bbq and baked goods? Yum City
