Best show ever and why

Florida Folk Festival. The Florida Folk Festival, a three-day celebration of the music, dance, stories, crafts ( reflecting Floridas heritage ) and food that make Florida unique. From Irish fiddle tunes and kumquat pie, to the wide varieties of music brought by immigrants, the state’s cultural heritage reflects the lives of generations of Florida families and communities. Throughout the Memorial Day weekend more than 300 performances give voice and meaning to Florida’s heritage.


Worst show ever and why

I have not had one to date.

    Hi Bob,
    Sorry, I am just checking your erlier question about NC shows. I do not know much about shows here in NC. I am really new to road shows and in the process of learing. 'just moved to Raleigh 9 months ago to maintain a studio here. I heard there are some good shows in the Asheville area so I am investigating. What ever comes up, I will share.

    I have done Piccolo Spoleto Craft Fair, Sweetgrass Festival, and the Festival of Flowers and will be doing Piccolo Spoleto Craft Fair and Artsplosure this year. I used to live in SC for a few years. My husband is from Hampton Co.

    Hi Bob, I really don't know much about NC shows because my jewelry is too contemporary for most of them and I end up traveling. There are probably some good shows for you near asheville and you might want to try centerfest which os now on zapp. Welcome to NC, Michele

    Anyway, you were asking me about good nc art fairs to do and well, I don't know that is a question I have asked as well. The only one I know of around me is the Whalehead Club show in Corolla. Anyway, I will keep you posted about any that I find out about!

    We are sorta new to the business, so don't know too much. We had a really good time at the Dogwood Festival (late April) in Fayetteville last year, and I just noticed that that festival was "runner up" for best festival in NC/SC last year.
