First show ever

Was in New York in the East Village! I use to do paintings for childrens rooms. I was so proud to be accepted for the most famous Art Show.

What are the best things about art fairs

The art, the crafts, the food, the friendly people, the all around atmosphere.

Best show ever and why

The best show was in New York where I grew up. It was in the East Village. I was sooooo proud and honored to have been chosen to be in that show. I was only in my 20's at the time. I'm now 73!

Worst show ever and why

Yesterday was the worse ever! At Ocala's Art Show at SSI. It was on a desolate road, and 2 cars showed up all day. It was at The National Defense Security building outside where they had a mountain of cement debris, wrecked cars piled on top etc. After the awards were given out I was packing up to leave, and the lady comes over to me who ran the show and says to me "are you leaving?" I said yes I have a puppy at home and it's dead here. She had the nerve to say "it will pick up, we still have 45mins. left". I could not believe it! I forgot all about the ribbons if they even were giving them out. It was a horror and an embarrassment for the Ocala Art League. We were there from 4:30 to 9:00, but we left at 8:15.
