First show ever

I started with hand beaded bookmarks and wine markers back in Colorado and my first show was in Palisades, CO at an annual bike ride through the wine country there.

What are the best things about art fairs

Meeting so many people and having them seek me out year after year. We meet so many nice people, which many have become friends.

Best show ever and why

The 2006 Brentwood Art, Wine & Jazz Festival was the best show ever. We had so many people at our booth each of the 2 days we had to have 3 people checking folks out! We were swamped and sales were through the roof, so much so that on Sunday afternoon when it started to rain we were so pleased that we didn't even mind the rain nor did our customers.

Worst show ever and why

2011 Brentwood Art, Wine and Jazz Festival was the worst show ever only for one reason-in the last hour and a half of the show on the second day I was robbed of over $1,100 of my handmade jewelry! I had fabulous sales both days so this was a complete shock and it felt horrible to be violated so badly. The police officer took the report on site and told me that they generally work in teams of 4 to 6 and wait till you are busy, distracted and rob you blind! I think this is becoming a sign of the times and we all need to watch out for one another.
