I am planning on reshooting my booth shot soon since my work has moved in a bit of a different direction since I took this one, and I would like to show my newer work in the shot. I am also trying to get into some higher-demand shows than I have been accepted to in the past, so I wanted to bump up the impact a little. I am aware of the concept of lining up all the tops of the top pieces and plan on doing that for sure.
My questions:
1) This feels a little boring to me. Are juries looking for an 'interesting' layout? Or is staying simple with 3 panels on each side better?
2) Most of my framed work is small- 20x20 and smaller, so I needed to hang a bit more so the booth didn't feel too empty. Does the quantity/concentration here feel about right? Or should I try heavier/lighter in your opinion?
3) I include a bin since I have one in my onsite show display. However, I don't sell prints of my work at all- the bin has matted and bagged originals. Is the presence of the bin misleading if I were to apply to a show that was originals only? If so I can shoot the booth twice- one with and one without the bin, though I would still plan on having the bin at the show regardless.

I like the arrangement, but it needs one eye catching piece that will draw customers in. It is a little too consistent in color value. Just my thought. I like the bin. Beautiful. Not sure how show judges will feel about it, but if you send the shot, be sure to let them know that it contains originals.
Thanks for the thoughts Jeanne! My new work has a lot more of the background colors showing through, so hopefully that will punch the overall color feel up a bit more. :)
I hadn't thought about attaching comments to the booth shot slide- will have to see if Zapp and JAS allow that. That would be the quick solution though- hope that works!
