Anything would be better than Slideroom from an artists prospective. I was preparing to apply to the Philadelphia Museum of Art photography competition this morning. I discovered that in the thumbnail gallery, where you can move your images around to create the best presentation, all vertical and square images are cropped top and bottom to make them horizontal, which Slideroom considers to be the standard image format.

  • I did speak to the Slideroom people and they are willing to listen to feedback on the system. They suggest sending an e-mail to info@slideroom.com with the suggestion of showing the full images in the thumbnail gallery that the artist put together their presentation order from.
