I've been working on setting up my used Honda Odyssey for doing shows. I put in a full sheet of plywood for a floor and built a platform six inches up to store my Trimline poles and mesh walls. The bin behind the passenger seat contains all the small parts and you can see the canopy top and walls folded on top. The platform is four feet wide and 5.5 feet long.for my inventory
I've ordered a RockNRoller multi cart to serve double purpose. It's one of the top two convertible hand trucks (the other being Magliner) and I'll use it as a selling table (and to store inventory) with the accessory shelf. It's also lighter and more compact than the Magliner.

Anyone want to buy a Magliner Gemini Jr?

I need an update on the R12 Rocknroller. I was just about to place an order when I read about the problems you had with yours. Were your problems resolved?
I love the article on the minivan set up. I am going to get out the power tools as soon as it cools off and modify your design to fit my van.

I have the R8 model RocknRoller and it's been good to me. I did have a rear tire go out on me after setting up at 3 Rivers last year (lots of heavy, heavy, loads on the cart ), but other than that no problems. I never realized you could get shelves to make it into a table! I think I may switch to do that for a packaging station!
I currently use this for a packaging storage bin and table, but it's quality is questionable:
http://www.idjnow.com/StoreModules/ProductDetails.aspx/PID=PORTA-DR...I have a rock n roller and love it. I think I have the 8, but it might be the 10. I got it from sweetwater and when I told them what I did they said the 12 would be over kill. I have had no problem going off road with it. To get to my studio I have a section of pebbles, and even when the rock n roller is weighted down it goes through with out a problem. This size is also easier to fit in my van.
I am suprised the R12 broke on you Larry. FYI I don't have any plastic on mine either.
Hi Larry, I just went to Rocknroller site. Is there any specific style you recommend better. I noticed they had 5 different sizes. Did you order it through a website? Or a store?
I need to purchase one. Thank you for your posts

I've used the R12 Rock-n-Roller for the last five years and highly recommend it. The R12 provides all terrain tires on all 4 wheels while smaller rock n rollers only provide all terrains on the back of the cart. All terrains tires are critical for going across wet fields with heavy loads.
The selling features of the cart are its strength (pile it on, this cart can take it), versatility (several options for moving equipment) and how small it can compress (fits well into small spaces). This link shows how it works (features the R10 not the R12):

My parts are all metal.... I too would be skeptical about plastic parts, especially when hauling several hundred pounds (Trimline, weights... it adds up fast). Current Amazon reviews seem positive... no mention of plastic.

That's why I was nervous about recommending it until I started using it for shows.
