Does anyone have a good recommendation where I can get Rubber Bracelets and/or Silicone Wristbands printed with my website and a logo as a give away at art shows?

If you are unsure what I'm referring to, they'd be similar to the ones Lance Armstrong is affiliated with.

There are several companies that offer these services online but I was wondering if anyone had a specific company who they have used for these services and could make a recommendation to me.

Thanks!

  • I have no idea if it's had any impact on traffic.  The only feedback I have gotten is the direct kind - "Hey, wow, thanks for the pen!"
  • I choose promotional material based on what I know is most likely to get carried off and used often. I recommend pens. Just get make sure to get Bic pens. They always work :)

Nice thing about pens is that you can leave them anywhere and they'll never get thrown away. You can offer them to complete strangers without offending them. You can lend them to other vendors who find themselves without, leave a pile on the welcome table at the event, leave one or two behind everywhere you see credit card slips being signed, go nuts.

I always have several in my purse and frequently hand them out in lieu of business cards.

I got a few hundred pens from 4imprint.com and the printing quality is quite nice. I went for a bargain pen and they don't work very well, which is why I mentioned buying Bic at the beginning.

I even met a guy who asked a local school if he could donate some pencils. So he did. 1000 No. 2 pencils with his company information on them.

    • Thank you all for your help.

      Andrea,

I like the pen idea.  Have you noticed that you have gotten more business/orders/hits on your website from handing the pens out?  Or has it had no direct impact?

      Thanks again,

      Josh

  • You also might want to think about Non-latex versions....

A lot of people are sensitive to those- they can cause severe allergic reactions- hives, itching and blisters, even scarring.

  • I know there are some shows that don't allow giveaways.  Which is not to say, don't follow through on your plan...just make sure that you read the fine print for the shows you accept.
  • Perhaps start with a company that makes plaques, trophies and award ribbons.  If they don't do it, they might know a company that does.
