Hello from snowy cold Cleveland Ohio. This is my 4th year of planning my year of art shows, and submitting my applications. Until now I have been basing my plan of events around the northeastern Ohio area... but to be honest I tried venturing out of my market, and into southern Ohio to discover good success. That said I am looking for recommendations for art shows in the Michigan/Illinois/Indiana/Pennsylvania and Ohio area. My medium is hand dyed silk. I practice Shibori, which is the Japanese method to create resists through binding and stitching. When the dye is added there are distinct patterns created. My partner and husband, Steve, makes cold processed hand crafted soap... vegan, organic, wonderful stuff. I would value your suggestions and recommendations.
