Pro Panels vs. Armstrong vs. ??

I'm looking to purchase a more professional-looking system than my current home-made easel set-up. Pro Panels seems to be a popular choice, but have recently noticed a few mentions of Armstrong.

What are experienced show presenters' thoughts on the trade-offs between the two systems. Are there other ones I should also be looking at?

Thanks!

  • Here is another option  for display panels I have seen at numerous shows. They seem to be reasonably priced and the people i spoke with that own them seem to really like them... I was also told that Flourish makes covers that fit these.

    • That's something I don't recommend. The basic panels are OK but at only 6 foot height I only recommend them for pop up tents. Most artists that use Trimlines or Light Domes use 7 foot tall panels. Another issue is that they sell bases or feet for the panels that stick out a foot into your neighbors booth or into the isle and people trip over them. Fortunately you can connect the panels with cable ties and not use the bases. But the for the additional money, which is about $35 a panel, nothing looks as professional as the carpeted panels from either Pro Panels or Armstrong.

  • I don't think there is a difference. I have Armstrong's table top display which looks exactly like my Pro Panels in a miniature size. Walking a show, you can't tell the difference seeing them in a booth.
