  • I also had this question, but does using the original files for jurying apply if you have different products made with the photography?  For example, I sell matted photos, but I also have photos decoupaged on artists canvas, printed on notecards, and magnets.  In this case, would it be better to supply product photos, or just the digital file and list the products on the application?

    • You need to photograph the product for a jury image. You can't tell the jurors what you make, you have to show them.

      • Ok.  Thanks!  That's what I've been doing, but then someone mentioned that I should just be sending the original files and I wasn't sure anymore.  

        • Photographs that you sell at shows can be your original file formatted for jurying. You don't need to show the matting or framing. But if you make other products from your images, those need to be shown and not described.

  • Always the original digital file sized and formatted for jurying. The booth picture is to show presentation.
