I've just been accepted to the Zona Rosa Art Fair in Kansas City, MO. It's a high-end white tent event, and this will be my first foray into this type of fair as an exhibitor. I have my canopy, walls, tables, covers, actual jewelry displays and jewelry ready. However, at the last high-end art fair I attended the jewelry artists in my price bracket all had their displays under glass and had very large photos of their jewelry hanging on their walls. I can see where the photos would be a nice touch to pull in traffic, but do I really need the glass covers? If I do, where do I find them?

I agree with Larry that the glass does put value on your work. Check around your area for businesses that may have gone under because of the economy. It could be a great way to get display cases at a discount.
For prints that hang in your booth, you should contact a local custom lab and see about printing on vinyl. It's sturdy and they use Epson archival inks. The lab I use charges $48 for a 33x48 inch banner ($35 for a 24x36, etc) finished (sewed edges) with grommets at the top so it can hang from your display. That price is based on giving them a file ready to print. Printing on vinyl makes it easy to roll up and store in a tube between shows so it doesn't get damaged.

The Arizona Case company is out of my price range right now, and I'm still waiting to hear back from the Asbtracta people, but it was exactly what I've been fruitlessly attempting to find for a week. Showing work under glass give the impression that it has greater value than just laid out on tables. I'm not a jeweler so you'll get more answers as jewelers contribute to this thread. The problem is that this is Ann Arbor week and most artists are setting up today for a four day show starting tomorrow.
