Hello all I'm new to artfair insiders and gotta say I love it! I've been painting for only a couple years and I do a lot of shows. I have been reluctant in dropping a bunch of cash in pro panels so I built my own. The frame is 1x1.5 aluminum tubing. The one thing I didn't take into account is that most shows outside the ground is not level. Need some ideas on ways to add leveling legs.
Make life easy on yourself. Instead of finding levelers for each panel. use a set of 10' boards to screw your tent legs into and shim those as needed. It may not be practical if your vehicle can't handle a 6 inch board that long, but most minivans can if you slide them up between the front seats from the back. A shorter board will work for the rear of the tent depending on how you arranger the panels. Paint the boards to match the panels.
Welcome to AFI, BB. I'm also a do-it-yerselfer, but I've not made a pro-panel. That's pretty cool looking despite the weird perspective in that image. Yeah, most all ground is not level even if it's concrete or asphalt. Just happens that way. You'll figure out that leveling thing.
I look forward to seeing more from you here at AFI and somewhere out there in show land. WOOHOO!
