I'm flying to Denver for an indoor show over Labor Day - and I want to rent some display panels for hanging my art. I use graphic display grid wall normally - but I live in Virginia, and just don't feel like driving for this show.

If you are willing to rent me your display, please let me know. Grid wall would be perfect - although I'm open to options.

You can contact me at Kathyroseart@yahoo.com.

  • Try Colorado Party Rentals.  They rent tents and other event stuff.  If they don't have what you're looking for, they probably know who does.  Also, Tebo store fixtures is right across 58th Ave. from the Merchandise Mart.  You can buy gridwall and other necessities from them if you get in a bind.
    • Thanks - just about an hour ago, I realized that I should probably just buy some basic gridwall and store it there (I have some family in Denver). That way I could continue to go back and do the annual event.

I'm still open to renting - if someone writes back with that option.

  • Kathy,  Labor Day is one busy weekend anywhere in the US.  In Denver, there will be the Taste(less) of Denver, which usually has about 100+ vendors and some real artists (I've never done it and never well, but that's another story).  Most Colorado artists will be spread all over the map doing shows, from Co. Springs to Breckenridge and points east.

Have you asked the people who are running your show if they have panels to lend/rent to you?

    • Yes, the thought ran through my mind more than once that the active artists will be in shows using their panels.  The show I'm doing is a big Metaphysical Fair at the Merchandise Mart.... they won't have panels available because it's not an actual art show. My art sells really well with metaphysical/spiritual people - this is my target audience.  Plus I have a large client base in Denver.

With gas prices so high, I'm trying to avoid driving -- it's 1,800 one way. So - I'm hoping for a nice little miracle so this works out smoothly.
