I am taking part inan art show. They provide the tent with 2 inch round legs and the top frame is 10 ft. high. The mesh wall is 7 ft tall. Problem are (1) The side straps on Mesh wall is suitable for a 1 and 1/4 inch legs and their tent has 2 inch round legs. The straps wont fit.

(2) The top frame from which the mesh wall buckled straps are attached is 10 ft from the ground. The mesh wall is 7 ft. This will hang the Mesh wall too high and cannot hang many paintings.

Would appreciate if you have any suggestion.

  • Very easy to use Industrial Grade Velcro, to extend any and all of your straps. I  have done this when I had to use a makeshift pipe and drape system, one time.

I am assuming you are using the Flourish mesh?

Also you could set up upper stabars to lower the top height but the extended straps might be better.

    • Sorry I was out for a while so did not respond sooner. Are you talking about the side straps? Yes, would use industrial velcro to extend them. That is a great idea. I think I will use regular steel wire to go over the top 2" horizontal 10' frame to hang the Mesh wall.

      Thanks for your help.

      • Yes, the side straps. Can also be used to extend top... merely go around metal hooks to transition to top stabars / frame.

  • Don't hang on the mesh. But you can use cable ties to attach the mesh walls.

Make your own hangers that go over the top bar and drill holes every inch or two. Two hangers for each piece of art.
