Life Happened

Life Happened. I was looking forward to doing a few art shows in May. After months of preparation, life happened. While coming back from picking up an eight week old puppy to be Xena's baby brother "Elvis," my wife Mary broke her ankle and will be laid up for six weeks, forcing me to start canceling the shows I had signed up for. Which is why I'm posting this on a weekend.

Here's my new web page of pictures of the new puppy:

  • Well, it's official. My wife needs to have her ankle operated on tomorrow. I'm sending this message from the hospital parking lot where she's getting blood work done.

I just cancelled my third show.

    • Larry, so sorry to hear the news. Unfortunate that you are having to cancel shows, but you certainly have your priorities straight.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and that your wife will be up and running in no time.

    • Larry,

What's the name and address of the hospital where Mary is having surgery?

I think YOU could use some flowers!

      • Thanks, but instead of flowers, send drugs....500-pills01.jpg
Here's a picture of percocets I did in color infrared a few years ago. They have it hanging in my drug store.

        • Thinking of Mary!  Hope all went well today.
          • Thanks for asking. Everything went well.

  • So sorry to read your news. It must be a great disappointment. The puppy will more than likely provide the distraction you need though. Feel better Mary and Larry.
  • Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Mary.  Too bad about the shows.  I'm sure someone on the wait list will be going WooHoo though.
  • Are you sure it isn't the new puppy keeping you home? He's incredibly cute.

He will be great fun to Mary while she heals.

  • She has my best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery. It's good, too, that you are able to be so philosophical about it.
