The time has come to get a Intellectual Rights Attorney.  (No issues but I like to be prepared.) I want someone familiar with Copyrights and Commission Contracts.... and all the things that Artists deal with.

I don't think proximity is really a big factor, but expertise is.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

  • Make sure whoever you get knows that these are federal court cases. If they don't, run away.

He goes after fraudulent law suits from photo stock agencies.

  • and there are Lawyers for the Arts in every state also, Wendy, that might be a resource for you.

  • Yes, I do.

I used an attorney to help me about 5 -6 months ago dealing with trademark infringement.

He is a member of a large law firm group. I didn't want to mess around; I felt that I needed to start at the top.  Not cheap, but I felt that the service was excellent.

You may email me if you would like me to give you more info.
