I have always sell my originals to clients, friends, referrals but I am a newbie in the art show circle, I have never tried prints. Any advice on this? Do they help with your sales, do they not help because they will buy the print instead of the original? If they help, do you recommend a website where we can order them in low quantities? I'm low in funds because I have paid for my art show fees, canopy, materials...any advice will help, thanks!!

  • Thank you!! My medium is acrylic, I will try those. What about fineartamerica.com , they offer prints from your work, anybody have try them? It seems like a good price. I will check Costco and Walmart too.
    • Thank you Dougie, every comment and advice is so useful. I appreciate each one of them, I will get prints, it seem a good idea :)
    • Never heard of it. But I have heard of:
      http://mpix.com
      http://whcc.com
and others as good like them.

But why mail order when you can walk into a store and get the same quality without paying for shipping and possible damage.

You need to prepare your digital file for the correct size and color space to control the output.

  • Prints of what? What's your medium?

There are many online resources for making digital chromogenic prints on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. In fact, depending on what size you want to print, check out your local Costco, Wal-Mart or Sam's club. You can get Epson inkjet prints in sizes up to 20x30 for only $9.
