Hi - I'm new here and haven't even intro'd myself yet - I live in Florida, make jewelry shells, glass, fossils and such. I was reading the discussion about where to sit in a booth, and got some really good ideas - one of them about using pvc pipe to raise table heights. I didn't want to hijack that thread - so can anyone give me a little more specifics? I know it seems like an idea that should be simple to implement. But I'm wondering if/how you attach the pvc, have you found that you need to do something to stabilize the table? Approximately how long are the pieces to achieve the 4 - 6 inches or so of additional height? Any other tips?

Target sells a 20x48 table I use for framing behind the booth. I added extensions to the legs with 1/2 inch conduit and carpeted it to match my ProPanels:
I used sheet metal screws to screw through the conduit into the table legs and added rubber feet (purchased from a hardware store) to the bottoms of the conduit legs. The table height is now 39" which is perfect for me to stand and work at.
