Hangar systems for King Canopy easy-up tents??

I am doing my first show in 2 weeks at Duluth, MN's Art in Bayfront Park show, and am renting a 10x10 test and walls from the local supplier there. The dimensions of the bars that I would use a hangar on are 1/2" by 1 1/2", and this is too large for the ProPanel system. (I called and checked). What type of quality hanging system does anyone use for a simple, rented, vinyl tent? (If I do well, I'm definitely heading in the Propanel direction!!) Thanks, Caryl

  • Caryl, I moved this topic to the Art Fair equipment forum.  Hopefully more people will see it there and offer you some more suggestions.

  • It sounds like what you need are hangers for a pipe and drape system. Do a Google search.

    • Thanks, Larry! I did, and found a system that will work through a quilt hanging company in OR. I never would have thought to look at Pipe and Drape. What WAS interesting was the number of places which initially said they had hooks of the .5 x 1.5 size, when all of them had hooks that would only cover .5 x 1.25. The quilt hangers are being modified to fit.

This blog at AFI has been amazingly helpful about so many things, including the new writing about the business aspects, and copyright 'easements.' Thank you for writing!
