FYI - no Stone Arch Festival of the Arts next year

I was talking with family in Minneapolis and was surprised to hear that there are no plans to hold the Stone Arch Festival of the Arts next year due to the death of the main person involved and the breakup of the group that usually put it on. Just thought I'd pass this along as we are all in the process of planning shows for next year!

    I hope Lori Biwer Stewart checks back here to see that show is back on.  She probably wouldn't be to happy it was back on and she missed it.

    I am soooo happy that they somehow have managed to revive this show!!  It is one of my favorites.  Love the setting and the nice crowd.  Have had consistent sales too for the last 5 years.

    Wow! I had no idea! I've been to this event for the past 5 years and have really enjoyed it. I guess I have another open weekend to fill!

    Thanks for this information, Tahmi. Some events, especially non-profit events, do rely on key people to make things happen. My condolences to the great staff at Stone Arch on the loss of their mentor and organizer.
