Hello everyone,

I am a photographer who sells landscapes, cityscapes, etc., and I desperately need some advice. Can anyone please tell me how you transport your display panels into a convention center, etc.  Please tell me there is an easier way than carrying them in 1 by 1!!!!!

Also, is getting insurance a must?  And if so can you tell me who I might get it through and how much?

Thank you so much for any advice that can be offered.  Much appreciated.

  • I don't haul paintings, i haul wood art but i do have the rocknroller cart. It is the most versatile cart I have ever owned..! I also made a wood top for it that bolts on through the existing handles holes in the cart. We have a cover for it and besides making a great table for our booth it provides excellent storage below.
Getting insurance is not a must...but it is a good idea to have it. I purchases the ACTinsurance annual policy for $265. They advertise here often. Hope I don't ever need it but i am glad I have it just for piece of mind.
    • Thank you for the info Greg. Much appreciated.

  • Hand truck or dolly. Most artists either use a Magliner Gemini or the Rock-n-Roller.

Also consider that some union halls only allow two wheeled hand trucks.
